teenagers and self esteem

I think one of the main problems of adolescents is their self-esteem and appearance. So no wonder teenagers spend so much time looking in the mirror.
In a time of physical and psychological changes is normal to have doubts about ourselves and the world. Go through all this, the difference is that each exceeded their fears faster than others.
Some teenagers take failure - whether in sport, exams or relationships - in their stride and get over it relatively quickly, but for others it can seem like a major crisis. If one teenager reacts badly then parents need to help him deal with his emotions before you help him deal with failure effectively.
The better teenagers feel about themselves, the higher their self-esteem and ability to cope with these temporary problems.
